The Benefits of Pedicures

Updated: Sep 20, 2018

Some people are adamant about our pedicures appointments. Some people never enjoyed the experience of this relaxing service. Whether you are a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or never-tried-it participant, here's why you should continue or consider a pedicure service. Here's some benefits of pedicures.

  1. Pedicures can help relax you.

  2. Pedicures can be good for your health.

  3. Pedicures feel so good!

  4. Pedicures can be essential to your quality of life.

  5. Your feet will thank you.

Take a moment to think about your busiest, long and most stressful day. Was this moment running errands all day? Was it a hard day at work? Was it when you were on your feet all day caring for your loved one or running after your child(ren)? Or was it simply just going about your day, just living your life?

Now think about how you would feel if you had someone to rub your aching feet and help you relax for 30 minutes, 40 minutes or even 70 whole minutes. Thirty minutes can seem like a lifetime for the busiest person. You may begin to think about what you could or need to accomplish in 30 minutes and you feel like you just don't have the time.

Well....I'm here to ask you. Why not take the time? Our Creator gave us one pair of feet. We walk on them EVERYDAY, doing EVERYTHING and going EVERYWHERE. Why not take the time out to pamper yourself? You work hard, you walk on them daily and you deserve to take care of your best self. I am a witness from personal experience. Life gets in the way ALL the time? I always feel like I never have time for myself. But guess what?? We only have one life and we should take extraordinary measures have the best life possible. MAKE TIME FOR SOME YOU TIME!!! I'm not just trying to sell my pedicure services to you. I truly believe that we need to take care of ourselves. We aren't doing our jobs, child(ren), spouse or ourselves for that matter any good; if we don't be good to our own body and that's by living our healthiest best life.

NOW BACK TO THE SUBJECT AT HAND!!!!

Did you know that you may be doing more harm to your feet by not doing anything to them at all? Not soaking them, not treating the dead skin that builds up regularly, not moisturizing them, not maintaining our toe nails, callouses, and not wearing the proper socks or shoes...are wreaking havoc on them by not doing these things. Just like our hair, hands and skin; our feet are indictors that tell us there may be a problem with our health. Whether it's taking on too much salt or a nagging pain. Our feet will tell us that something's wrong.

I have pedicures designed for all walks of life. From the busiest 9 to 5er down to our retirees. Whether you are ticklish or you suffer from an ailment. I have a pedicure that will fit you. So think about booking a pedicure soon. Maybe you haven't been in a while; that's okay. I'm available to serve you. You don't have to prep for me. I got you. Maybe you never had one. Well, my Dear...you won't be disappointed. You will experience the most relaxing, fulfilling and most of all healthy pedicure from me; try me! I am to please!!! And don't worry if you fall asleep while getting your service...I take that as a compliment!

PRECAUTIONS YOU SHOULD TAKE!!!!

Now with anything in life...we must be prepared. Here are some things you should tell me or the person you allow to perform you pedicure; before your service:

  • Let me know if you suffer from any medical issues. This is very important!! There are certain cautionary measures that your manicurist should take if you have any health ailments. From Diabetes to a foot contusion or even circulation problems...WE NEED TO KNOW!!!!

  • DO NOT SHAVE YOUR LEGS before getting your pedicure. When you shave, you are susceptible to irritation or infection when a scrub is applied during your pedicure. This can burn you and be very uncomfortable. If you have any open cuts please let your manicurist know. So shave two weeks prior or after your pedicure is performed.

  • No funguses allowed! You must see a podiatrist if you see any yellowing, discoloring or oozing from your toe nails. Manicurist are not doctors. We cannot diagnose or prescribe. For your safety and the safety of the clients don't get a pedicure if you think you may have a fungus. In the event that you get a fungus. It has to be treated at least a month until you can receive a pedicure. MMMkay!!??

  • If there are certain things you don't feel comfortable getting down the pedicure...let your manicurist know. Maybe you may be ticklish and don't like the scrub. That's fine. We want your experience to be relaxing and a great one.

  • WE ARE NOT MIRACLE WORKERS!!! If you haven't been in a while or not at all, don't expect to see right now results. It doesn't take the skin to build up in one day. It's not going to come off in one day either. I personally think I give the best pedicures in the WORLD. However, I am a realist. I don't expect all the dead skin to fall off in one pedicure service. Just like with anything you desire to be healthy, you must maintain. Maintenance is key. You have to keep it up to see results.

  • MOST IMPORTANTLY...make sure that you see your technician disinfect and clean the tub before and after the perform your service. Make sure that their implements are being sanitized and sanitation practices are being followed. Also feel free to ask questions if you don't understand. They're your feet and you have every right to know what products are being used or applied on them.

Soooo....if you the Spirit has led you; book today.
